Leaving Vodafone to join Vodafone?
Hi. Pls help as I’m really not phone tech savvy. I’m out of contract and pay a sim only monthly plan with Vodafone. It’s £11.75 and 5GB. I know I can get cheaper. Vodafone wouldn’t do me a better deal keeping me on same plan. I’ve found better deals for example 8GB for £8 - with Vodafone! They say if I leave them and purchase this deal, I can’t have my same number even after requesting the PAC code?? If I go to O2, EE etc then I can. I really would prefer to stay with Vodafone. Are they really correct in saying that if I go off an purchase a new sim only contract, I can’t in some way transfer my number to it?? Any advice welcomed, thanks

I think you'll need to switch your number to another network (can be a PAYG sim) and then switch back to Vodafone.2

I was in the same situation, so I switched to Voxi (owned and run by vodafone) kept my number, and was going to switch back after 30 days. However, voxi have been great, so I just stayed! Same network coverage, better price. No brainer.2

I’ve just googled Voxi and saw it’s for under 25’s. I’m wayyyy over that lol but then saw it’s lifted it’s age restrictions. How odd they even had one!!?!0

@cici71 @matteds100 @pphillips Hi guys, sorry I am new to this forum - I'm thinking of joining Voxi - can you share referral code if you still are using it? I think they will give you Amazon voucher for a referral? Thanks in advance-1

You need to get a code from the referrers forum.KateVan said:@cici71 @matteds100 @pphillips Hi guys, sorry I am new to this forum - I'm thinking of joining Voxi - can you share referral code if you still are using it? I think they will give you Amazon voucher for a referral? Thanks in advance1 -
OP, why not join TalkMobile? It’s owned by VF but considerably cheaper. For example £9/m gives you 9gb data with unlimited calls & texts each month.0

Voxi was originally for under-25s, however this requirement has since been dropped. You're no longer asked your age.
