you wont find email address for them. they acquired national mutual life in the 90s. then some years later windsor life itself was taken over by reassure, with whom I have the majority of my private pension invested.0

This is not a sort of enquiry that would be suitability dealt via email. This is more of a letter style enquiry.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

'We have just found a cheque' . Is the cheque something you have found following the death of a relative? Have you found any other documentation from the Life Office?Do not automatically assume there is money to be had here. If someone was expecting a cheque and it hadn't arrived they would usually query the non-payment within a couple of weeks or so, a 'stop' would be placed on the cheque and a few days later, a new cheque would be issued . If the original turned -up later it would have no value..If someone on the Forum can give you a contact address, may I suggest that you write a letter as suggested by dunstonh . Your letter should state the full name and date of birth of the relative and the policy nimber if you know it and you should state the name of the Life Office which issued the cheque. When your letter arrives , it may take some time before it reaches the right person.Since the cheque was issued over 20 years ago, it is quite possible that records no longer exist.0
