Huawei dongle unlock

If the dongle was supplied by a mobile system supplier company then it will be locked to them. I bought a HUAWEI dongle 2nd hand off eBay supplied by 02. When the data ran out I tried to fit a sim from another supplier but it wouldn’t work as it was locked. Trying to unlock it failed as the sim was registered to the original owner. I got round it by buying a PAYG 02 SIM card off eBay for 1p which I registered to my 02 account. I was then able to obtain an unlock code to fit another sim.  If you are the original owner then you should be able to obtain an unlock code from 3 either online or having to go in to a store.  In my case it was online supplied in the form of a text.  Google for ways of applying the unlock code.

Getting the unlock codes for both 3 phones and 3 dongles shouldn't be a problem there should be an option in your online account, if not try and give them a call but don't hold your breath due to this situation. I personally like three and their rates

Hi, I am looking for some help. I am probably going to change my Huawei P10 mate for a new phone. I use my phone which I bought upfront, curiously enough for making calls mostly, photography, WhatsApp, Instagram and occasionally music and Facebook. So I have a fairly good deal with Vodafone - unlimited minutes, unlimited texts plus 4gb of data for around £7.95 a month. My question is what make and model do I go for? I am disabled and have hearing loss but have managed the Huawei fine with my hearing aids. I am fairly tech savvy for a granny but I really need help finding a phone to suit my needs. I need a reasonable camera as a neck op last year has meant my days of heavy cameras on neck straps are probably gone 😢. And replies gratefully received.
