Virgin V6

I don't have a Smart TV so if I presumed if I wanted to watch Amazon Prime I'd have to pay for it and watch on/through my lap top.  I was going through my Virgin channels a few nights ago (just have the basic package) and I thought I read if you had V6 you could access Amazon Prime.  Did I imagine it?? (it was 10pm and a couple of glasses of wine later!)  If so, I presume it's something you have to buy?  Had a look at Virgin Packages and it's a bit confusing.  Thanks.

You still have to subscribe to Amazon Prime, but if your cable decoder is the V6 model then it can be viewed via that. It's certainly not  cheaper via Virgin by the way. 

 Realise also that many Blu-Ray players also have access to Prime (& Netflix), or you could buy a Firestick.
