    Lord.

    (As in "Lord knows").

Seriously: HSBC aren't known to be fast, so if you keep your expectations low, you might be positively surprised.

Many thanks for getting back to me.
I thought as much. HSBC are one of the most annoying banks.

I have usually had them within 5 days of asking but depends on how fast they are, they can be so slow sometimes.

been waiting since 1st week in march, so good luck!
every time i call up they say some bs like "sir i can see from the system that this has all been processed for you and the timescale for this is 7 working days"
and then I say , from when? when did the 7 days start i've been waiting for a month?
and then, as if they guy doesn't understand what i'm saying, just repeats the above statement in really bad english and says thats all he can tell from the system.
systems !!!!!! if you ask me and the bank is useless

HSBC like to operate at a stately, considered pace.

Not quite sure this is true as I've had post delivered on a Saturday, perhaps they aren't delivering in your street on a Saturday.
Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both.

Thanks all! Due to how slow Royal Mail are delivering, I'm not expecting it anytime soon!
