Tried to switch to flex direct and it gave me a technical error. Have application reference number, will contact to customer service but not sure if they can keep for me 5% rate :-((
You don't need to switch to get the 5%. You just have to have applied for the FlexDirect before midnight tonight. As you have an application reference number, it sounds like you have completed the application, so you should be fine

Same thing happened to me  on the late evening of the 30th Miranda  , it  kept saying Id made an error . Fiddled  looking for what it was  , eventually noticed  the 'do you want to add another bank ' was already ticked on yes as a default  ( I didnt want to)  so I put that right but the error persisted  and wouldnt allow me to complete .   To cut a story short  I phoned and explained the next day and they confirmed as that as I had the application number it would go ahead at the 5%.Hope yours did too.

You tried to transfer/upgrade your account then. 'Switch' means something very different now in the banking industry.
