There is a whole community dedicated to doing this. They award themselves things like "safari award" when they get a scammer to travel to a different country to collect non-existent money and "trophies" when they get scammers to send silly photo's of themselves.arciere said:On a separate note, I do spend time replying to scam emails, when I am really really bored. I remember one time I managed to send a guy somewhere in Africa to a Western Union shop that I told him I had sent the money to (I also sent him a fake WU receipt). It took him a while to understand what was going on.
If you are bored one day have a read through the 419eater.com forum to see what fun they get up to wasting the scammers time.Or if you prefer video, there's a community on youtube including people like:- Trilogy Media
- Scammer Payback
- Jim Browning (he was featured on BBC Panorama in 2020)
- Karl Rock
- Kitboga
- IRLrosie
- Hoax Hotel
And quite a few others I've probably forgotten.1
