If you upgrade from a FlexAccount to a FlexDirect, do you keep the same account number and cards or are new ones issued.

I think mine was OK but it was a long time agoThe Nationwide website is a great resource for Nationwide productshttps://www.nationwide.co.uk/support/support-articles/how-to/how-do-i-upgrade-my-current-account
What happens when I change my account?
- In most cases, your sort code and account number will continue to be the same as they were.
- Your new card will be sent to you within 7 working days but your existing card will continue to work

I changed some time ago from FlexAccount to FlexPlus and then to FlexDirect and back to FlexPlus and most recently back to FlexDirect and my account no., sort code and cheque book (remember them?) stayed the same the whole time. The cards do change but pin no. remains the same and you can keep[ using the cards until the new ones arrive.1
