I don't know how to work the interest out although 8.5% sounded good. I've been putting £30 a month in since Jan. I wanted somewhere to save where I wouldn't be tempted/able to draw it out so this was ideal for me. If anyone wants to estimate my interest that's okay with me.

how to withdraw money from Chorley?

Send passbook and request letter by post OR over the phone?

Do they send cheque or BACS transfer?
All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy.
  • they send u a cheque.

I sent them an email yesterday regarding withdrawing by bacs. Here's their reply....

good morning we can make a CHAPS payment to your bank, the charge is £25 or alternatively send your Paid up passbook to us with your instructions and we will issue a cheque.

  • Does anybody know the earliest date that 150.00 can be added to Santa Saver account for 2008/09 Santa account year,? I would assume 1st December as an absolute guess.
