Hello, I am looking for advice on where I should cancel/terminate my mobile contract as it costs a lot and I want more savings but I am not sure how to go about terminating it as I am not sure if its worth payoff and really need someone that can give me some piece of mind or possible help save me a lot of money as I am only a student and any help is much appreciated.
Notes;
I have a S10, I pay  £50.32 and still has 13 months left.
Thank you!

    Yes since am not able to go anywhere due to the current situation, but would that be the best/only solution?

    That's the only way, there are no 'loopholes' in mobiles contracts.
    Just take the monthly fee times the months left and that's the fee to exit the contract.

    .........and then you would still need to find a sim only deal.

    Your best bet is to let the contract run and, immediately it ends find a good sim only deal.

    Alright thank you guys for your time, its a shame there isn't a better solution for me to do but I guess that's what I get for going with a contract. If anyone would like to add to this feel free.

    You mean - it's a shame that there is no easy way out of my obligation.

    Sounds like you've maliciously missed the purpose of this thread, the purpose of this in case you missed it was so that I can save money as I made a mistake to do a mobile contract and wanted out in someway as I thought it was worth trying that was all.

    OP just ignore him, there are a few like that on here but the majority would much rather be helpful than make snide remarks
  • Gary Y. You could pay off your contract, sell your S10 then buy a cheap phone and take a sim only contract.

    I was wondering about this but I from what I can gather it wouldn't be worth it as I would have to pay the contract off and still get a new phone and sim which would cost more overall rather than sticking with my contract unless I did the maths wrong but as my currently if I had to terminate it would cost around £580 and if I stick with the contract until the end I would pay around £654 so I am not sure but thanks for the advice!
