Furniture stuck in storage over Coronavirus lockdown

Options
Just seeking some advice.
My furniture has been in storage since late February as I needed to wait a few weeks until my house purchase completed. The purchase has now completed and I’ve contacted the removals company by email, phone which diverted to a mobile so I left an answer phone message, and also text to the mobile number. I heard nothing back at all from the company. There’s no message on their website to advise they are currently closed. I drove past their warehouse and all the vans were inside the car park with  the gate locked and closed. Am I still expected to continue paying for storage costs per week when I’ve advised the removal company that I’m now ready for my items to be delivered to my new property and this can’t be completed as the company is closed as long as the lockdown period continues.
It doesn’t seem fair to be charged for this when because of the closure I cannot get my furniture out of storage during this time.

What is the name of the company?
    Why does that matter ?
I own a removals and storage  company and we stopped  working on the 27th March when all Removal  companies  were advised  to stop ...due to not being able to comply  with social distancing  advice  plus tbh I wasnt about to gamble with my employees health and as such we cannot deliver items out od store .......I would come to some agreement with storage  charges  ...you dont know if the company you used will or not ?
I am covering emails and phones have been diverted  so we can always  been contacted
Incidentally I know some removal companies  are still working

Why does it matter? They may have a FB page, a Twitter account.  The OP may be able to find the name of the company on Companies House and find who the directors are and try and contact them by letter.

    Merely trying to help.

In any case any decent company like this would be at least replying to emails.

If they are not even replying to you, i would like to see them enforce payment for storage in court.  Did they contact you before they closed down?
An answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......
