As will those of us who haven’t needed bailing out.
I think the government have actually got the furlough totally wrong- it shouldn’t have been such a high amount and should have had a repayment clause attached to it.
Many of us in the NHS feel that lots of people are getting an 80% paid holiday whilst again it will be us that are expected to pay for it via another decade of wage freezes.
Its very demoralising having to continue to work and have to see/listen to people drinking and playing loud music in their gardens acting like it’s a big party.1 -
Without the private sector there is no one to create the wealth to pay the tax. That will pays your wages and ultimately your pension on retirement. This a crisis far worse than the last one.ToxicWomble said:Many of us in the NHS feel that lots of people are getting an 80% paid holiday whilst again it will be us that are expected to pay for it via another decade of wage freezes.2 -

I agree. Seen threads on here of people in bits because they are eligible for barely anything. Poor taste.gettingtheresometime said:And the point of your OP was?

Neither was it asking for support or help so I fail to see the point other than it being a "look at me!" thread which serves no purpose at all and can actually antagonise others.clive0510 said:

Really? How many people in the UK had heard the term 'furlough' until now? I think you'll find it was simply called laying people off.nic_c said:
Furlough predates the current crisis, company have been able to furlough workers for years - the government scheme for paying 80% is new.Brynsam said:
