when the current crisis started I hadnt heard of the furlough scheme. then I had a letter from my employer explaining all about it. on top of the 80% my employer is putting in 10% from his own pocket. which is nice for doing nothing.

Sadly those people who qualified for furlough but were refused or those to fell through the cracks will pay for bailing out even though they were not bailed out themselves.2 -
Furlough predates the current crisis, company have been able to furlough workers for years - the government scheme for paying 80% is new.Brynsam said:
