Airline into Administration

If Virgin Atlantic go into administration what happens to the tickets we bought direct with them.
if a buyer is found will they honour those tickets.
If Virgin offer us the chance to rebook and issue a voucher and then go into administration what happens to that voucher.

Lots of good questions all brought about by a threat from Branson himself to put the airline into administration, a guaranteed way to lose forward bookings. If it stops flying then you don't fly and claim your money back if you used a credit or debit card. If it's bought out then I would expect a new owner to honour existing bookings, it makes no sense not to. I would demand refunds not vouchers as these will not be financially protected I expect.
