Hi,
I have a 02 contract taken out last year. The monthly payment is £20pm. However this month I have been charged £20.54.  I have looked through my bill and cannot see any additional charges such as calls or data.
Has 02 increase there payment plan for existing customers!
If they have I am not aware of it.
Has a anyone else had the same?
Thanks
MS

Did o2 send letter or Email to say why it went up?

Its been in O2 contracts for years. O2 can add the rpi  to the contract and thats what you signed up to.

If you joined or upgraded before 19 February 2020, you would've received a message from us telling you about the adjustment and how it impacts your contract. If you joined or upgraded after this date, we'd have told you about it before you'd signed up

I joined O2 in December 2019, and received this email on 27/02/20:
    Hello,
We’re adjusting the price of your tariff in line with the 2.7% Retail Price Index (RPI) rate of inflation announced in February, as mentioned in your terms. You’ll see the change on your April 2020 bill and you can keep track of all your bills at My O2.
To get an idea of what that means, if you are on a £39 tariff this would be an increase of £1.05 a month. There’s more information on RPI at our website.
From April, there’ll also be changes to some of our other charges outside your monthly allowance. You’ll find further details at the link above.
    Thanks,
    O2

My monthly bill was also £20, and this was increased on 12 April to £20.54.

Okay. May be I have missed the email.
It is a just a small increase.  But with the present issues we all are facing and there many things which are on hold.
Is it still okay for mobile providers to increase the payments?
