in Credit cards
Curve has temporarily increased the number of days punters have to swap transactions to another card from 14 days to 90 days.

I guess this is to help customers juggle their money during these 'difficult times'.

We’ve temporarily extended our Go Back In Time feature from 14 days to a whopping 90 days to help you at this time. For a limited time, you can move 90-day old payments to any other card of your choice and free up some cash.

I guess this a sweetener because they are now (with retroactive effect!) introducing fees for using Curve to pay credit cards or financial institutions when the underlying payment comes from a credit card. Basically ruins the whole concept for me.

yes don’t really know why anyone would choose curve now, really poor they have not given notice as well.John0

I'll keep using it so I can use my Aqua card with Google Pay which was always a nice bonus.0

Same the only thing it's really good for is turning my Aqua Reward into a contacless card that can go on Apple pay.0

Curve have been badgering me for over a year to stop paying credit cards, so not surprised this has eventually came about. I'm sure they'll still be loopholes to indirectly do it, but it is a pain.
@jay1804 - Aqua is contactless these days if you get a newly issued card I believe (read it somewhere else, I've not actually tried it on my 3 year old card yet). If they refuse to issue one, you could always 'lose' the one you've got..... - Edit: not sure about the applepay mind, I've never tried it, that still might not work

What is the benefit of using Apple pay? (And sorry if this is off-topic.)

Apple Pay and its ilk have never appealed to me as a concept. I can see the convenience benefit of using a wrist watch for payment, but I've never understood how holding your entire phone over the card reader is any more convenient than holding a payment card over the reader. I've seen sufficient people struggling to make it work while holding up the entire queue to make me not want to even try it. Each to his own, but it's not a concept that appeals to me.

I've used Google pay a few times when I needed to pay for something unexpectedly and had not brought my wallet with me. It definitely is a useful feature.0

I have Apple Pay setup, but like Fingerbobs I rarely see the need to use it on a day to day basis.
As per @crumpet_man - I have use it a few isolated times I've left my wallet at home/work, so it's Apple Pay or nothing. Not 100% it'll work though, e.g. Asda Petrol terminals weren't setup to accept it for over £30 last time my physical card broke.
Also potentially helpful if you lose your wallet/cards, especially if travelling etc. (if physical cards get blocked as lost/stolen, it will still work via your phone - it's only if your entire account is suspended/compromised Apple Pay and the like would stop working (e.g. fraud block/credit line revoked))
In terms of actually using Curve, I find it a hassle these days with all the restrictions applied to either myself or everyone. I think their USP, which was essentially for people to take the mickey (even though they haven't ever admitted that) has long gone.
I did see a job for credit analysis/underwriting, so looks like they're planning on launching some form of credit - but unless it's genuinely good value in an already pretty dire market, I don't think they'll be around much longer.0
