@Coupon-mad then there is no chance of getting the overall case re-done due to the points that i mentioned? it would only be me saving 60 pounds in essence?
new 2019 law and the PAS232 being drafted - how effective do you think these factors would be?
is there more that we can do?

thank you for the breakdown from ddj lynch.... So i was dammed with her regardless anyway?

I'd say so.  It is a shame though because she must now be making this mistake EVERY TIME until she gets @bargepole rocking up to a case and setting her on the right path again re the £60 fake costs.

new 2019 law and the PAS232 being drafted - how effective do you think these factors would be?
As effective as the MHCLG is prepared to make them.  The drafts of the new CoP and the 'regulatory framework' behind it all, went out for public consultation a few weeks ago.  By now, Ministers will certainly have enough to go on to make this work properly for the public, if they will just take that leap of faith and take certain consultation responses with the pinch of salt that the cut & paste threats deserve.

The Government must remember WHY the 2019 Act came into being.  It was for ONE REASON = to rein in rogue PPCs and put an end to weak Codes of Practice and Auditing by Trade Bodies that compete in a race to the bottom, and are run in a self-serving way for the PPCs.

There is more work to be done and we will know more in 2021. The new CoP is not yet finalised and the framework has no further public input AIUI and now will be down to the MHCLG to get right.

is there more that we can do?
No, as much as possible has been and is being done.  If the Single Appeals Service is run by a robust set of people who are not prepared to see rogues pull the wool over their eyes, then we will come a long way forward.

thank you for the breakdown from ddj lynch.... So i was dammed with her regardless anyway?
Looks that way, sadly.  If she wasn't with @bargepole on that case in April then she seems to be a Judge with set ideas.
She is wrong about the added £60 but needs someone to tell her why, at another hearing.

  • Pay up x don't hang about. You know what the amount ordered was, and who to pay it to. Do. Not. Hang. About !

I'd agree with the above. You're not going to have much hope of overturning the £60 element.
