Hi all, new to the forum so please go easy on me. BT Tv package is up and was always planning to go back to sky with a deal .... was offered a few before the shut down. Now obviously cannot contact and Sales aren’t working I believe. BT obviously as I’m out of the 18 month contract put their broadband prices up, looking at the tv and broadband package so little bit stuck .... any suggesting as to how I get a good deal if they are any available ?? Anyone know when things may be back to normal and Sky sales team are back offering joining discounts ?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Back to normal 2021 probably .Negotiate a new contract with BT .Check your BT dashboard for offers.Even if Sky answer the phone Open Reach will probably not do any work required .Sky contacts see multiple Sky threads .2

Problem is don’t really want to stay with bt for tv, suppose I could change broadband and then tv afterwards, again not the cleverest at this... it is possible to choose a different broadband person then choose sky for tv only when they open the sales side for tv ? Sorry to be a pain if this is common sense but would rather know before I start cancelling everything0

BT supply Sky channels .You can change BB and get Sky tv later .Dont cancel anything as cancelling leads to possible extra charges and loss of service .Changes are now gaining provider led .Go to Sky web site and sign up for what you want providing you are out of all BT contracts ( check )But again ability to change BB depends upon Open Reach and the work they need to do in the exchange . As they are on lockdown it could mean a loss of service .1

openreach are still doing line switchovers so as long as you are just moving between normal providers then there won’t be a loss of service, sky sales teams are phasing back this week so worth giving them a call this week to see what’s available
