APH Parking offering vouchers instead of refunds

I received an email from APH last week to say that their offices were open again and that they were working through their backlog.
They say that for customer protection they delete payment details shortly after the date of your booking has passed, and will therefore need to contact customers for these details in order to be able to issue refunds.

After getting fed up of waiting, I instructed a chargeback through my credit card provider at the start of the month.  Yesterday APH finally got in touch asking me to confirm that my card details (which they had previously claimed were automatically deleted after my booking) were still valid.  here's hoping that there might finally be a refund on the way!  Needless to say, I will be avoiding them like the plague in future

At Manchester Airport APH run bus services between the terminals and their airport car parks.  In the last couple of months APH have been awarded contracts to run school buses and rail replacement bus services, so as they've found an alternative source of revenue due to the pandemic, no-one needs to take pity on them being the poor business who have no money to refund customers.
