APH Parking offering vouchers instead of refunds

Can anyone shed any light on whether it’s lawful for APH parking to offers refunds to people who have booked and paid in advance to park their car at airports? I was due to fly from Bristol Airport 2nd May but had an email saying the car park is closed and they are only offering me a voucher instead. Website suggests flexible bookers can claim refunds but not those who have paid in advance...seems a little discriminatory to me!

I have had a similar experience with APH. I have just received an email from them cancelling my hotel and parking at Heathrow and offering me a voucher for £50.40 when I had paid £85.05 in advance. I tried to ring the customer service number but it says that all their staff are furloughed so I wonder how they managed to send the email out? Can anyone please advise what we should do as I do not want to print the voucher as I feel that if I do then I am accepting this and it is not what I want as I had already emailed them asking for a refund.0

If they cancelled you should get a cash refund.
Did you pay via card? or a different method?

I've also received an email from APH today cancelling my airport (Heathrow) parking. They've offered me a voucher but there's no mention of any alternatives. I don't want a voucher so am writing to them to ask for the payment to be refunded to my credit card. Fingers crossed!0

I asked papypal to refund me .... they did.

They've just offered me a voucher for 150% of my car park cost to be used in the next 2 years, but who knows when or if holidays will get back to how they were again, so I'd like a refund but again no mention of that from them. Contact my Credit Card provider?0

Chargeback should be quicker than a S75

I've just had an email cancelling our booking for Gatwick P&R next week. I've messaged them via their website requesting a refund. If that doesn't work I shall go through my credit card provider instead.
The offer of a voucher worth 'up to' 150% is quite cunningly worded. If you are happy to accept the voucher, then a gift horse should not be looked in the mouth. My voucher was worth 33% more at selected car parks and just 9% at others. I can't help but wonder how many customers are being offered anywhere close to the heralded 150%!know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -

Same here. I was due park at APH Gatwick in 3 days time. After weeks of chasing with no reply had an email today confirming they are closed and offering vouchers to value of 130% valid until Dec2021. No mention of how to actually get a refund or contact them. Link goes to the closed website.. I don't want a voucher. I have parked here every year for about 10 years or more and had excellent service, but they have acted terribly in this situation. Doesn't seem like them, but they are getting a lot of bad PR and will think twice about using them again. Has anybody managed to get a refund yet ?? If so how please ??0
