Email account confirmations not being sent out

I've had to start a new username as my original one of a decade+ no longer works. It says I have to reset my password so I enter my email and it says the email has been sent but nothing arrives. Before the usual response of "duh, it'll be in your spam folder" - it isn't. It isn't arriving at all. Can the admins sort this out please? I was quite partial to the old green forum skin. I don't like this grey and pink one and there doesn't seem to be any way to change it back to the old simple green one.

Problems have been reported with the process with BT emails, but I cannot recall the resolution.0 -

It's probably still the same problem as BT accounts, certain email addresses are "blacklisted" and you need to go into your email account settings and whitelist the email address the MSE email is coming from. The MSE email address you need to whitelist is Forum.NoReply@moneysavingexpert.com

If you contact the forum team they will look into it for you, but yes there are a few problems with a few of the ISPs or mail providers. It could also be your filter as unfortunately the filters at the recipient end are outside MSE control
