Wizz air refund for cancelled flights not correct?

3 Posts
Hi, first time poster. Hope someone can help if possible please and I have this in right section.
So Wizz air have cancelled our flights to Poland due to Corona. This consisted of 2 x return flights and a booking of one suitcase and seat reservations there and back. No 3rd party booking such as transfers.
So our options are apparently 100% refund cash or 120% if as. WIZZ air credits.
We paid a total of £166.95 but the refund has been worked out at £144.85 if we. Were to accept which I work out as 86.7%
We booked online so no booking fees I know of or can see. There appears to be no live chat and calling them entails a premium number. Has anyone else had experience or can identify what the difference is please?
From my understanding it should be a refund of £166.95 or this total plus 20 percent if taken as wizz credits. Any help or previous experiences would be much appreciated thanks.
We haven't paid by credit card either unfortunately just via debit card.
Thanks in advance
