Homebase - Undelivered Orders

You are one step better off than me then, I cancelled an order and have yet to receive a refund form! Not sure that it is necessary to have to fill in a refund form as it is a simple process, I cancel, Homebase take it off their system, refund the card and don't deliver.Rosie111 said:I cancelled a Homebase order 2 weeks ago after a very long wait for delivery. Filled in the refund form which was emailed to me by the date requested. Today I've just had a text to say its with the courier!!! I've tried to contact the courier asking not to deliver and just return to Homebase- but obviously no reply as yet!! Before anyone asks it was a lawn mower- order placed before lock down.0 -
I'm in exactly the same position Rosie111. Ordered in march. No delivery date despite my chasing and then 1 week ago I emailed to cancel. Again no response til yesterday to say it's on way. More frustrated emails from me to them with no response. I'm now sitting here wondering if it's best to accept the delivery at the door or refuse. I've never had a situation like this with an order. It's been appalling customer service .

I had another e-mail from them yesterday (generic sent to everybody I suspect) telling me they were still working hard to deliver. Oh no, I thought but then it said if you had put in a cancellation e-mail, don't end another one.0

Hi, has anyone taken delivery of their Homebase orders since lock-down - i completely understand these are unusual times, but during this time every other order i have placed with various retailers have fulfilled my order. What's so different for Homebase - i placed an order on 8th April 2020 and I've had no communication of value from them, just genetic replies - they have my money, but i have nothing to show for it... appalling effort on Homebase part.0

Don't talk rubbish Cranford. Delivery drivers are loving it. Our DPD driver says he doesn't get anywhere near anyone else at the depot - his trollies are preloaded with the boxes for him to take to his van and sort. He is getting more deliveries than ever (and is paid per delivery) the roads are clear, every body is in and he can usually either leave in a safe place or take a photo of the box by your front door and be back in his van revving his engine by the time you get to the door. Oh, and the weather has been glorious for a drive around the countryside these last few weekscranford said:So its ok to put delivery drivers at risk just so you can do a bit of non essential painting, They may not have contact with you but loading their vans is another matter.2
