Homebase - Undelivered Orders

Hi,  has anyone experienced trouble with their Homebase online orders, or even actually received their order?  I’m on week 4 of waiting.  No communication from Homebase on delivery time or request for refund.  I have tried social media and many different email addresses.
From what I have read of Facebook and Trustpilot there are thousands of people in the same situation

I have finally just received today part of an order placed on 28 March but no mention of what's happening with the rest of the order.  They are a complete shambles, especially when it comes to communication (they even make TUI look semi competent and that's hard to believe..).  Another one on my list of companies not to deal with again post lockdown.

I am also waiting for delivery of an order due on the 10th. They admit themselves they can’t handle the customers they have and yet they’re still taking orders. They’ve gone completely incommunicado.

Placed an order for two 5ltr cans of Cuprinol shed paint and one of Sandtex White on the 24th of March, the Cuprinol was delivered a week later, still waiting for the Sandtex, have emailed them twice finally got a response last Friday apologising but still no delivery or date.

Posters seem to be breaking the basic rules that only essential goods may be purchased. Don't see how Sandex and Cuprinol are essential goods and Homebase should stop deliveries.  Until people keep to the guidelines and traffic and person to person contract is reduced this crisis will never end.

The government states that people should only go out shopping for essential items such as food or medical supplies, where does it say that online shopping for any goods is forbidden if that where the case Amazon, Ebay and hundreds of online retailers would have had to have ceased trading and be out of business.

So its ok to put delivery drivers at risk just so you can do a bit of non essential painting, They may not have contact with you but loading their vans is another matter.
  • I ordered 8 cans of paint for delivery before lockdown. They haven’t arrived and I can’t get any communication from them either.

Ordered some items a couple of days ago with a planned estimated delivery of 21 days, which isn't an issue as it will take that long to get ready.  Today I had an e-mail from them apologising for the long delivery (er, only waited three days so far) and telling me they were working flat out on my behalf.  Maybe others will also receive an e-mail today.  Doesn't help with your delivery but at least it shows they are communicating and acknowledging the extended delivery time (for others).
  • I placed a smallish order of items early April. After I sent 4 emails (none Responded to) asking for an estimated delivery date and multiple calls to their number which doesn’t seem to accept calls - I had the items delivered yesterday.
So while their communication strategy is awful, orders are seemingly still being processed and delivered.

I cancelled a Homebase order 2 weeks ago after a very long wait for delivery. Filled in the refund form which was emailed to me by the date requested. Today I've just had a text to say its with the courier!!! I've tried to contact the courier asking not to deliver and just return to Homebase- but obviously no reply as yet!! Before anyone asks it was a lawn mower- order placed before lock down.
