Replacement TalkTalk Router/Modem/Hub

I have had TalkTalk standard broadband for probably 7 or 8 years and have been happy enough with it.
With an ever increasing number of devices that connect to the WIFI e.g. phone, tablet, tv, laptop, alexa, smartplugs I have noticed that it won't allow all the devices to be connected at the same time even if they are not in active use. I often find for example to connect the laptop I will have to turn off WIFI on my phone. I am assuming this is due the capability of the router/hub which i got from TalkTalk (D-Link DSL 2680) when I first got broadband from them.
To enable me to keep all the devices connected at the same time would it be as simple as buying a newer TalkTalk hub/router from ebay. If so is there any particular model that I should get?

You don't have to buy a TalkTalk branded router.

Ask TalkTalk to send you their latest wifi-hub which is supposed to be very good. They will most likely give it to you free of charge considering you've been with them for quite a while.

https://accessories.talktalk.co.uk/productdescription/39Thank you for your suggestion of router.I didn't bother contacting TalkTalk, but managed to picked up this router from ebay at a fraction of the price TalkTalk have it listed at. It has solved my problem and seems to work really well. Although it is very large in size compared to my old router, the design is such that it just looks like speaker or radio. It actually looks quite neat and blends into the background.0
