Ticketmaster fees not refunded on cancelled concert

Ok so PetShopBoys have had to postpone their UK tour until next year and the revised date is when we are (supposed) to be on holiday. On seeking a refund TicketMaster are saying that they will only refund the ticket face value and not any of the fees - (£23 of fees over the 2 tickets) ..... Is this reasonable or should i be pushing TicketMaster for a refund of their fees given the original date is not now going ahead?

As above. You paid a transaction fee and got the transaction.
Stinks, but that's the ticket industry.1 -
No this is not correct; after complaining, Ticketmaster have refunded me the full amount, presumably because they are worried that I will take action. Well it took too long & I have already started writing to all agencies as I know Ticketmaster are breaking laws.
I have an outstanding case with STAR, Trading Standards & the CMA against Ticketmaster UK Ltd. They refused to refund my Postage Fee & my booking Fee, all against the Terms & Conditions under which the ticket was booked. After 16 e-mails I involved my MP, Andrew Bridgen & wrote to STAR, CMA, BEIS, Trading Standards, Local Newspaper and anyone else I could think of.
To date, I have received a full refund from Ticketmaster (i.e. Ticket Price, Postage Fee & Booking Fee) & I am still waiting for follow up from STAR, CMA & Trading Standards; I have my MP involved in following up.
It is not acceptable for any company to behave like Ticketmaster, regardless as to the situation at hand (i.e. Covid-19). However, I know its virtually impossible to get companies like Ticketmaster investigated even if they breach Trading Standards & don't issue refunds.
If you respond to this forum, the more people I can get, the more evidence I have that Ticketmaster have breached Trading Standards. I will however, open up a new forum so that any & all cases can be reported here
The laws need to be followed & whilst t takes an extraordinary amount of effort, such companies will be investigated & their behaviour corrected.

Which laws have they broken? Aren't ticket agencies allowed to cover their operarting and processing costs?

Only if their Terms & Conditions allow it.
Ticketmaster's Terms & Conditions at the time of my ticket purchase, don't allow this so I challenged them. They tried to rely on Terms & Conditions that they updated on 6th April 2020 but I fought back. It took me 16+ e-mails & I have had to write to my MP but subsequently they have refunded me the full amount; to date I've received no explanation as to why this change of heart.
Anyway, they have refunded me the full amount now but I have reported them to STAR, CMA, Trading Standards, BEIS & several other agencies as a result.
If you have received a similar refund to me (i.e. a partial refund), you need to challenge Ticketmaster; they cannot rely upon Terms & Conditions that they have recently updated.
