I had to get some haylage for the horses this week and the amount of fly tipping going on around us is utterly disgusting every third layby or gate had household and garden rubbish dumped in it.1

I would like flytippers to be sent to jail. A 3 month minimum term should do the trick. Nevermind FPNs.1

Not agreeing with flytipping but it was a given there would be lots as soon as the council closed the tip to the public.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -

Providing that social distancing measures are in place to protect both the staff and the public, recycling centres are allowed to open and I think that it's not going to be too long before some of them do reopen.8 -

You could even shred the larger clippings, and scatter them on the surface as mulch.

I'm reliably informed that a mountain of bin bags has been dumped in a lay-by not far from me. I'm in lockdown and can't see it, but the cost to deal with such dumping will be immense and that's without the extra hazard to health during a pandemic. We're all doomed aren't we?
