Post office lost my receipt DROP AND GO

HI everyone
I use Drop and Go at my local post office, usually without any issues.
It's usually up to a week before I get back to collect my receipts, as I only post once or twice a week (small business).
Today a USA customer said their item had not arrived, I tracked it online and they are correct. Parcel last seen in New York on April 2nd (posted in UK March 30th).
I can track all this through my Drop and Go online account.
Went to Post Office today to collect my receipts, and the receipts from first week in lockdown (last week in March) are missing! I know that my husband dropped off three dates as can see them on my online account ( I have been staying home) and purposely hadn;t asked him to pick up receipts as we were trying to get in and out of the post office as quickly as possible.
Any idea how the lack of receipt will affect the claim? I know the post office have lost them as they also don;t have one of the large bags I use to carry the parcels.
Online it says that the paper receipt is needed to claim- but I'm not the one who lost it!
Thanks everyone

I don't know how your claim would be affected but knowing RM they will use any excuse to get out of paying for a lost item.
You could try explaining and sending a screenshot of your online account?0
