They  lie, only a judge can award a CCJ.  Have you read the advice in the newbies about how to deal with debt collectors?

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and in some cases, cancellation.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Assume they have added a fake £69 ????  or more ???
Send them this letter if they have ,,,,,,, well of course they have, it's a DCBL thing ?

Same as all the others - DCBL have just paper-bombed people with demands hoping weak people are stupid enough to pay, thinking it's a bailiff letter.  Of course, it's not, because your case has not been to court yet.

Tell us more about the parking firm and where this was.  Forget DCBL Collections' latest demand.

It'll be CP Plus, I guess - same as all the other CP Plus DCBL thread, then, please read them first before asking more questions as this has been covered on LOADS of CP Plus theads...

They can't hold a registered keeper liable so of course, no phoning up or trying to 'appeal' and blabbing about who parked!

Ahhh, oh dear, you appealed in your own words without coming here first, and you blabbed who was driving/what happened?  Please say no.

What happened when you complained to MOTO?  As anyone would?

Or is it not MOTO and CP Plus?

Do that now then. Complain to the manager and/or CEO pointing out that these are supposed to be a refuge for tired drivers. Forcing people to drive when tired or receive a charge is the opposite of what a responsible landowner would do.

Don't forget to complain to your MP about this unregulated scam as well, using the same comments.

Come back to this thread if it gets cancelled, or if you get real court papers.

And in your appeal you said what happened and who parked.  Oh dear.

And of course now you are here you WILL be complaining to MOTO to get it cancelled.  Easy!

This is not your thread, so we must stop replying here, and no replying here (below) either please...this new thread below is not a general discussion, it's a plea to save our sanity and time so we can help people who really need it:
