3mobile increasing their prices during lockdown?

At this very uncertain time when people are losing their jobs, being made redundant or being placed on furlough, one would expect this is the time for utility suppliers to do their bit and help out their customers. Not 3 mobile. I received a text and email from them today saying that they are increasing their prices this April by RPI or 2.7%. I am pretty shocked that they are increasing their prices at this extremely difficult time, when everyone else seems to be pulling together and either freezing their prices or dropping them http://support.three.co.uk/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBISAPI.DLL?Command=New,Kb=Mobile,Ts=Mobile,T=Article,varset_cat=billing,varset_subcat=3770,Case=obj(15395)
I am shocked and appalled at 3mobile - has anyone else received this email / text?

Tesco Mobile, I believe, are the only network who don't apply RPI/CPI to their airtime agreements. Both o2 and EE have increased mine in recent weeks, despite the circumstances.
It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.
  • Mine is going up 51 pence. I had my text yesterday but my missus didn't but I don't know if it will affect her as she's been with 3 mobile before 2015 but did changed her contract last year.
