Gone over budget already by 10.19. Don't know how we are gonna scrape through til the 26th of the month (which is payday). As that's another two weeks yet 😧 and I have a shop booked for Tuesday of things I am struggling to get in the shops or have to go out practically every other day for! Buying bigger sizes of things hasn't helped, but have been necessary like golden syrup and vegan mayo. Still having to do gluten free bread orders also, which aren't cheap. I bring quite alot of leftovers home from work too. We aren't eating extravagantly, but yet its the worst month by far I've had on GC in ages.
Hope everyone else is doing better 🙂GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July ££110.46/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Avoided Mr M where there was a decent sized queue and got everything I needed at B&M where i was going anyway for coffee (coffee, dishwasher tablets, chocolate biscuits, mustard, milk, Fanta to cook gammon in) and Iceland (lots of frozen berries, broccoli plus pasties and a chicken pie which were not on the list).
Also added £9.70 for our weekly chippy tea.

Updating with our shops. We have had the health food shop delivered (sadly, not cheap but they are reopening now so I'll be able to check prices before buying) and our lidi and salnsbury Sunday shop where I found self raising flour for the first time in ages! I didn't check the cupboards properly though and bought things I thought we had run out of but actually had in, next time I'll make a better list. Total spent is £258.12/£600. Not doing too badly, but I did have good store cupboards at the beginning. I'm hoping they aren't decimated at the end of the month.
Good luck guys 👍6 -
Greenglockenspiel said:£22.23 in Lidl today and also £12.58 in Tesco on the few bits I couldn’t get in Lidl so we’re now at £122.52/£200. As my month runs to the 23rd, this means we might meet my sneaky secret target of £150 rather than £200! I’ve only been going to the shop once a week so much less likely than usual to mess it up by popping in for one thing and spending £20. I think the Coronavirus has either stretched people’s finances (furlough/lack of income) or meant they are saving a lot of money by being at home and I am very fortunate to be in the latter camp.Original mortgage free date: November 2044Current mortgage free date: November 2038Chipping away...8

Well my Morrison's shop came and so i am now on £436.13/£350. I will adjust signature once I can get on desktop/laptop. Can't figure out how to do it on my phone.
The main thing I needed (soya milk) wasn't in stock (although it appeared to be right up until the last day before the order). So we are now back to all lugging it home daily from the nearest Lidl. The little amount we were allowed would have only lasted two days anyway, but would have give us a rest for a day or so. Times like this seriously wish I could drive 🙄

Our grocery expenses seem to have stabilised. We are £145/300 for this month, so I'm hopeful we can finish just a bit under or over budget. I'll have to track all the deliveries we receive (washing tablets, milk, veggies) and make sure I'm counting them right - it's so easy to lose track of them!
I'm still keeping separate the takeaway budget (formerly known as the eating out budget) and try manage it by allowing us to use it only once a week - although I'm already craving pizza!GC £~~/3007 -
I have spent a massive £82.56 in the last 10 days, mainly with two Sains and one Aldi shop. It also includes £9.50 on a bag of SR flour and an industrial sized packet of dried yeast from a local cafe,. and £8.99 on a big bag of walnut halves.
