Overcharged by Talktalk

Hello everyone. I hope you and your loved ones are all well.
I am pretty sure this is not the first post regarding Talktalk overcharging.
My bill is twice as much than usual bill this month. Its been several days that I login to my online account hoping to see an itemised bill so I can find out why it is. But there is no bill information on my account. Obviously there is no reply to my emails or posts on the community forum. Their call centre is shut.what I wanted to ask is if any of you experienced this with talk talk recently and how you dealt with it. Secondly is it worth for me to cancel my direct debit and just pay manually what I should be paying them this month. I still have 3 days before my direct debit payment. I cant really effort extra payments like this.
It is so frustrating that companies act this way in such difficult times, forced to pay more than I agreed for. I feel that I must because I do fear losing my internet connection which is such an essentiality at the moment.
Any point of view would be appreciated.
Warmly
Asli

How long have you been with TalkTalk for? Is this your first bill or are you nearing the end of your contract?
I would advise against cancelling your Direct Debit as this would mean the bill would be marked as overdue and may affect your credit file and of course may result in TalkTalk suspending your connection until it's paid.
Currently in a Protected Trust Deed - 17 payments until DEBT FREE - February 2027

thank you! I have been with them for a while and renewed my contract two months ago. Yes you are right. I shouldn't cancel.
