Want to buy the house I'm currently renting

Hi!
So me and my partner love the house we're rentung at the minute and are thinking about discussing with the letting management if the landlady would be willing to sell when our tenancy is up. Just wondering if anyone had any tips or advice for this? Everything goes through purplebricks and I'm worried as they are completely incompetent and so sneaky it's seem they do anything to avoid what they should be doing and they serious lack communication skills. We don't have any details about the landlady apart from her name and she lives abroad! We've asked for an email but still haven't heard anything.
TIA!

Why wait until the tenancy is over?

We still want to add to the deposit and save money. And we highly doubt that purple bricks would even put this forward whilst we've still got a year left.

So bypass the agency and speak directly with the landlady.
You should have been given her address..

You could check Land Registry for address of the owner.

Then ask purple bricks why the owners contact details are not on the tenancy agreement

If you write to the agents and request the landlords address then legally they have to give it to you.

See Section 1 of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985.

Because it's rented through a letting agents and managed by them it doesn't have to be.

Even though they're the letting agents and everything is done through them? We asked for her email and got hit with data protection.
