Hey all,
Landlord is with with Sky and having issues with shield trying to access bbc or netflix.
Wondered if there's a good free vpn to use across chrome, explorer etc.
Or is there a browser I can use?
Thanks

Has your landlord reviewed the Sky Broadband Shield settings?
Websites being blocked or allowed incorrectly
Or he/she could just disable Sky Broadband Shield. I seem to recall having to do that when I was with Sky because the Shield would often arbitrarily block genuine sites.1 -
Variety of free vpn addons for chrome etc if you look in the store.

There are a lot of good VPNs, but I always didn't liked free ones because they're not very reliable and slow. I always prefer paid ones, and I am using Veepn already some time. Very fast and protects me, no regrets that I purchased it.0

Good, Free. Choose one. A 3 year subscription to a good one is not a lot, especially for a new customer. However all vpn's will have issues with streaming and the comanies don;t like you doing it like that. This is usually most end point won't work. However the paid ones do tell you which points to use for various purposes.1 -
Hello, a landlord cannot block access to legal services on a broadband connection. Netflix or BBC Player. They can only block access to something that deems to be illegal, Etc, piratebay. My suggestion, is to ask your landlord to open the router up so you can legally stream legal contents. If he refuses, then you are legally entitled to report the landlord to the internet provider he uses for restriction on usage. There is no need to access to a paid VPN service for netflix. You are within your rights to stream legal contents on your connection, regardless of your landlords internet.0

A landlord can control HIS/HER Internet connection as they wish as they are the account holder. I assume a lodger then they get to use it with the LL's permission, they have no rights to demand any changes.
Lodger is free to source his own access0 -
I would highly recommend you to avoid using a free VPN. You may end up losing your personal data by saving few cents which is way more crucial than few pennies. In fact, Ivacy VPN is a reliable award-winning VPN and they are running a discount due to this corona pandemic to support you in this hour of need. Visit Ivacy's website to download VPN and stay secure.Explorer87 said:Hey all,

Well, I won't ever recommend using Free VPN service for streaming at least, as they are pretty slow. You can get either Ivacy or Express for streaming as these are the Fastest VPN services out there.Explorer87 said:Hey all,

Too many extensions available on webstore but the free tool I won't recommend at all. They are simply useless.Explorer87 said:Hey all,

You'd kinda hope that @Explorer87 has sorted out their landlord problem sometime in the last 2 years. That or moved.ClayJohnson57 said:
