I's there a way to see if your employer is claiming furlough even though they not put you on furlough .

It all gets reported back to HMRC and therefore should be reflected on your payslip somehow. However, it is between them and HMRC and the employer. HMRC will check the employer's eligibility for their claim.0

I was hoping that the reporting back to HMRC might result in recording a different type of earnings on the payslip. However, I might be wishful thinking.
My payslips are always very official and I get a different phrase for only slight variations in income - but I admit this might not be consistent for everyone. My organisation is large is in-house for payroll but outsourced for processing and payslips.0 -

"If you are concerned that your employer has claimed on your behalf but is not paying you what you are entitled to as described in this guidance you should raise this with your employer in the first instance, then with the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS)." Not quite the same point, but I think the same process would apply. Not very helpful, really. The guidance to employers does tell them that they must pay the employee at least as much as they claim for wages.

The boss of HMRC was on the news this week warning about fraud concerns they had for this scheme and presumably they will be making some fraud checks.

The portal for employers to claim is due to open 20th April. I'm assuming any claims will be checked against paye rti reporting, so if you haven't been paid I doubt they could claim. Any discrepancy will likely prompt investigation and any wrong doing heavy penalties. HMRC have indicated to keep records for 5 years so they clearly plan spend a few years checking through claims.0
