iPhone sold on gumtree and bank froze account

Why don't you start telling the truth? Or will that not work on a public forum?1

Surely common sense would suggest speaking to someone before taking out an expensive phone contract that they don't need. And even then I imagine you could cancel the contract within so many days.
This story is amusing.1 -

Whats happened to the contracts eg the monthly payments ?
Why would you take out new contracts before asking if the current contracts were ok ?
Why not just return the phones ?
More holes than swiss cheese.
will I be able to return the sims and get out of contract and what do I do regarding my bank as no one has helped me so far
No, the contract is paying for the phones. Of course you can’t get a subsidized or free phone, sell it, and then not make the payments that you agreed to. You’ve just thrown away well over a thousand pounds.2 -

How did you send the phones, do you have the address to go round and try to retrieve them?

If person buying the phones was honest the OP would still have problems. The phones would be blocked in a few months and I can't see the buyers taking it lying down

If any of this is true, you signed a contract to pay the line rental for 24 or 36 months. You can terminate the contract by paying the remaining months worth of line rental.
You expect a mobile provider to give you £2,000 worth of phones and just happily let you stop paying them because you feel like it?
Pull the other one. You've signed the contracts. You have a contractual obligation to pay them for the number of months stated on the contracts. Simple as that. Black and white.
You allowed fraud to take place on your bank account so the bank rightfully closed it, and will have put a fraud marker on your CIFAS file. This will be there for six years. You can't change that. You don't just hand out your bank details to random strangers from Gumtree or anywhere else.
You might be able top open a Cashplus account in the mean time to receive benefits and make payments out of.

I flag all adverts for iphones, etc on gumtree, craigslist, etc as they must all be fraudulent and/or stolen
