Furlough leave and annual leave

Can my employer furlough me and force me to top up the wages to 100% by telling me to take one day of holiday during each week of furlough? In addition to that, can the same employer tell the remaining staff to use half their annual leave entitlement by the end of June.

    To the first point no. You are either furloughed or not. To the second point are they also furloughed? if yes then no, if they are not a company needs to give twice as much notice of holidays as they want you to take.
