    If you are living with parents are they charging you rent?  Can they not let you off for a bit?

    The house sale will most likely not be happening now, your circumstances have changed so you need to tell the mortgage lender and they will probably withdraw your offer.

    It's a sh!tty situation for you both undoubtedly, but many, many people are in sh!tty situations now, some much worse than having so much in savings they don't qualify for benefits.

    With careful budgeting (less expenses) and maybe your partner taking another temporary job, you might not need touch them. 


  • Yes they are willing to go ahead as it’s not a full change of circumstances. It’s Temporary.
