    No, just making a general point about how bad even a SHORT economic shutdown is, and here is the OP thinking it would last a YEAR. No way on earth will hotels be forced to close for a year. None whatsoever. Nada. Zilch.

    May I suggest you are being very negative then if you genuinely think hotels will be closed for a year. Good luck to you.
    Perhaps some simply won't reopen. The business may have gone bust by then.

    Maybe so, but that is totally different to them not being allowed to open for a year.

    In fact you are driving home my point. The treasury departments of governments around the world will be doing their nut in, and wont want shutdowns and business closures to last any longer than necessary.  A year? Laughable.
