They will still be trading while in administration. I think it's fine to post them. I have some items to go back too but am waiting for the shops to open as the postage to return would be quite expensive.0

Make sure you can prove receipt by them. many retailer use 3rd parties to handle online orders. If they do not get paid then any goods may not get refunded.Life in the slow lane0

They're not in "full" administration and their online store is operating as normal.0

There is information on their website about administration and returns.
Recent Media Coverage
You may have seen recent news reports about Debenhams. We'd like to reassure you that we're continuing to trade as usual. We're still taking & delivering orders. We're still accepting Gift Card payments & processing online returns.
They also say this about returns:Returns
To help at this uncertain time, we've extended our returns policy. We'll now be accepting late returns up to 14 days after stores re-open. This applies to items bought in store or online and is subject to our usual exceptions.
If you've sent an online purchase back to us for a refund, this should be processed in the usual timeframe and you'll receive an email to confirm this has been actioned.

They aren't going into 'administration for shut down' - they are going into the backdoor administration that allows them to write off their debts - buy the company back - and start afresh from a better footing. They are currently trading normally online - returns are permitted - refunds will be given. Once the stores are open again - refunds can also be made there. There is a chance that a small number of branches may not re-open as part of the administration process - they might decide to let go of any stores that are making significant losses - but on the whole - the majority of stores will re-open once the time is right.0

It is 'Debenhams plc' that has gone into administration.
It's 'Debenhams Retail Ltd' that operate the online website and shops - so that's who your contract is with - and they are not in administration.
So there is no change to your contractual rights or consumer rights - including your rights to return/refund.
(If 'Debenhams Retail Ltd' goes into administration the situation would be different.)
