Last contract finished days before 28th February, so getting nothing.

I work half of my paid work for  NHS and get paid via Umbrella company..All my shifts were cancelled due to COVID and half of extra income stopped.Can umbrella employees be furloughed too? I paid 2 taxes, 2 national insurance and 2 pensions (NHS and Umbrella )

Hi this is my 1st week on furlough today my boss has informed me I have to use my holiday entitlement while on furlough but paying only 80% as per govt claim does my employer have to pay normal wage if he is using holidays while furloughed then 80% if holiday entitlement is used up. Thank You.

My salary was furloughed for end of March. I received a call Thursday 23rd April from my boss saying my department had been refused furlough & I'm now on a week's notice, finishing next Thursday. Cannot see how qas furloughed one month, then not the following. Has anyone has this experience, or can anybody explain how this might happen, have my own thoughts on it, but just want to see what folk might have to say about this situation.

I'm in my 2nd furlough week, only 2 employees on furlough out of an 60+ strong branch, now I've noticed the company have advertised for 2 drivers and a plant operator, is this legal if they are claiming furlough off the government

You cannot use annual leave whilst furloughed. What your employer is suggesting is illegal. 

They can ask you to take annual leave, or even force you to, but if they do they should pay 100% of your salary and cannot claim for furlough.

As a secondary school cleaner, no I haven't.  But we've had little to no children in, so we've been deep cleaning.
