Just take a screenshot that shows the track not showing with the correct name in your media player, and another screenshot showing the tracks metadata.452 said:
I'm not sure how to find how the tracks are shown.dan958 said:Please send over a screenshot of how the track shows in your media player, and also a screenshot of the meta data.1 -
I've not got a media player at present, I've tried several all with problems.
Could the the fact that all the iTunes library is not in the same format be an issue?
Some are mp3 others their own format.0 -
Didn't I ask that 2 days ago? If any files are in an Apple proprietary format then a lot of other media players and metadata apps may struggle to recognise them (as they'd need to pay Apple a licence fee to use the codec).1

But the phone does recognise and plays them.

I've tried MP3TAG, when I bring a double album up it list them in numerical order disc 1 then disc 2. When I load the same album into iTunes and convert it to mp3 it doesn't separate the discs.
Where do I tag it as disc 1 and 2 in MP3TAG?0 -
If you look in the list of tracks, one of the columns is Discnumber. (For me it is to the right of the Track column and to the left of the Year column). However I don't use that for any of my albums ... for me each disc has its own sub-folder in the album folder.0

Thanks, I did work it out.DoaM said:If you look in the list of tracks, one of the columns is Discnumber. (For me it is to the right of the Track column and to the left of the Year column). However I don't use that for any of my albums ... for me each disc has its own sub-folder in the album folder.
Could you please explain the one disc one folder way?0 -
