Is there an easy to use Android music player similar to iTunes where you can edit on a PC and copy to your phone?
Most of the common ones have their flaws where albums are split on some double albums are listed disc 1 then disc 2, while others are disc track 1, disc 2 track 1, disc 1 track 2, disc 2, track 2 etc.
I know it's a bit ocd but I'd like them as originally intended.

What is listed as 'disc 1', is it the album name? If so, your metadata needs updating. Use something like MusicBrainz to get all the correct metadata.0

I've used MP3Tag in the past for editing metadata.1

Check the metadata of the song and see what it says on there. Media progams generally go by metadata. You will probably just want to make sure the meta data is correct for title, artist, album, track number. The program I mentioned before is a song database, and you can use it to auto update the metadata of your songs.452 said:

On the sd card the tracks are listed
1-01 then name of track.0 -

I've downloaded musicbrainz one track maybe missing from an album but in iTunes it's complete.0 -
Are all the tracks in a format that an Android device (and MusicBrainz) would recognise? (e.g. MP3) If any are in an Apple-proprietary format then that may explain why something is missing.
Are you pointing MusicBrainz to the same location as where iTunes stores your library?0 -
I don't see how one track out of 35 would be in a different format.0
-
Neither do I ... I was merely positing a potential reason. You didn't address my second question.0
-
Yeah drag and drop straight from the iTunes file location.0

Please send over a screenshot of how the track shows in your media player, and also a screenshot of the meta data.0
