TUI, RyanAir and Jet2 announce date they all plan to start flights and holidays again

They're not the dates that flights will resume. It's a random date to help them manage the workload.

My daughter had her Jet2 holiday cancelled and was given he deposit back, Jet2 have now taken from her credit card the full amount and said that they will call her nearer the time of her holiday (19 June) to give her options, can they do that when its been cancelled?0
-
Clearly they have done. It may be a case that taking the balance from the credit card is an automated process which overlapped with returning her deposit. It may be worth her calling them after the Bank Holiday as something clearly doesn't make sense.

No as we are not allowed to book time off work for 2021 until Jan 1st so not possible to book for then, plus nobody knows which firms will go under after this (Jet2 or where I work) it is way to uncertain to be transferring to 2021 in my opinion. I can only assume that when they eventually get in touch with us it will be the hard sell to take a transfer or vouchers.bradders1983 said:
They have holidays available for 2021, that not an option?Indout96 said:The e-mail I got today said they were contacting people in travel date order.
looking on their facebook site a lot of people have got through on the phone line and cancelled and already received money back but I was just on hold for an hour and gave up, will try again in a few days.
they do seem to be pushing for you just to change dates but not a lot of use if you have booked time off from work as not everyone can take their holidays in the last few months of the year, we also have another booked with them for September and one with Virgin in November (already lost Russia two weeks ago and Expedia saying up to 3 months for refund from airline)
but its all better than being illTotally Debt Free & Mortgage Free Semi retired and happy0
