Thanks all, sorry for not replying sooner, end of term has been rather mental to say the least. I started at 6:15am on Thursday (my choice, lots of ends to tie up before the end of term0, then a safeguarding concern appeared at 4 as I was about to leave, ended up staying til 5:30 then it was time to help with the Xmas concert, so finally escaped work at 9:15. Yesterday we were finished by 12:30 so then we all hit the pub. I didn't really drink but didn't get home til nearly midnight. Today I've woken up with the stinking cold that everyone else in the office has had all week, so I'm having a duvet day :)

Beanielou - I can't start until they've replaced me (can't leave 270 kids on their own :) ), so it will probably be end of January, early Feb I think.

TallGirl - it works out roughly £2k payrise, fine by me :):)
    Mortgage Total: £51,801 / £75,000
    Mortgage Overpayments Pot £947
  • thats a good payrise! hope they manage to get a replacement soon for you so that you can get started with the new role.
