As already noted payments are made in arrears so a payment made today’s would not be expected to include the increase.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

    Yours might be.
Mine are however most definitely for this new tax year commencing April 6th; all payments are calculated for the duration of the tax year and divided appropriately so that my last payment of the tax year 2019/2020 was made in March.

Yes but the increase didn't apply until yesterday, you need to wait a couple of weeks at least and then check again.

My payments changed over the weekend. My new regular payments for the next two months from 6th May include roughly an extra £80 (£87 and £84 more like) which I presume is the extra £80 because of CV but it doesn't say. I also have two identical payments added to my future payments for June rather than one. I've also had the request to renew my working tax credit claim. Has anyone else seen this pattern of new payments?

I've had my usual WTC payment today, then my account says I'm getting a larger One Off payment on Thursday then the new higher rate from next Monday onwards.
