The increases apply from today so I would expect the increase to appear in your next payment.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

Remember also, it only applies to working tax credits.

I would have thought the same, that if it said it was from the 6th that would include the 6th. My payment from the 6th has already gone in and it's the same as usual and all my other payments are also all the same. I guess they can make adjustments at any time but maybe they just haven't actually done it yet? If they say it's going up by £80pm then they could manually adjust future payments to reflect this at any time including backdated to 6th April. As it's the new tax year and everything is a bit disjointed maybe they just haven't been able to do it because they are short-staffed etc. We could use an update on this.

Someone on another thread said WTC payments are paid in arrears so today's payment is in fact for the previous month. Hopefully changes will appear in time for next month.

That’s why I said in my initial reply that I would expect the increase to be included in the next payment

As advised on the thread, the changes don't take place until today so you won't see payment changes just yet.

I checked online today & instant messaged asking about WTC.
They're not quite ready to pay up yet and I was told to check payments in a couple of weeks by which time they hoped it would be done.

The increase is from 6th April as the advice clearly says so was due on payments made from today (6th) onwards, the start of a new tax year.
