Totally trivial toilet roll vent...

The end being the bit that stops the roll falling off the holder? I've once in the past (many years ago) encountered the same issue but not since. (With my current holders I can remove the end stops so smaller diameter rolls isn't a problem).1

Sort of, yes. It's a standing, vertical roll holder so no danger of the rolls falling off, though.I should have said "knob" but was afraid it would appear as "!!!!".

You can always unroll the small dia rolls and wind back onto your original tubes.
Will keep you occupied during this lockdown?

Lockdown has got a lot to answer for, why aren't all of you busy decorating rooms or cutting the grass.......Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.0

Will keep you occupied during this lockdown? That's more like it!People may sneer that it's a first world problem, but if Valerie Singleton had had to improvise on Blue Peter making stuff with the puny toilet roll "tubes" I've got, she would never have graduated to the PM programme.

If you want to ridicule the OP because you feel the problem is silly in it's own right then fair enough, but the attitude that only serious problems should be discussed at any time and all minor issues should be ignored is just ridiculous.0 -
Where's the bar that determines something is important or trivial? And who sets where that is?0
