Quidco, does anyone ever get paid?

Quidco earn from people using the site but do they ever pay out to users? (Standby for 100's of satisfied users!) I used Quidco last year for my home insurance via Barclays. The offer was for £125 cashback. It was never paid! This year, being a bit silly, I used Quidco again and bought home insurance from Prudential. Yep, it hasn't tracked again.
So, do Quidco pay out? As they don't to me.

Only had 1 transaction not track with Quidco, and that turned out to be cos the merchant only paid commission on transactions above a certain value.

Did you clear your cookies before going through Quidco? It's quite possible that, if you'd already been on the Barclays/Pru site to get a quote, that you already had cookies for them on your computer so the Quidco ones weren't left. What was the outcome of your dispute with them?

I made sure that I cleared my Cookies before I went to the dealers site.

I never had any joy with Quidco re last years transaction. " We do not guarantee payment" was Quidco's response.

    Thanks for the reply.

Well, I buy my home insurance through TopCashBack and have always got the commission, although last time I had to ask for it.

Both the companies the OP mentions have paid out to me.

You need to clear your cookies before you go to the quidco site, not before you link from quidco to the dealer site.

If you do the latter, you will clear the tracking cookie that quidco uses, so it will be impossible for your transactions to track.

Yes Quidco do pay out in most but not all cases but if you look on both the gambling forum and the referral forum you will see threads full of people who have received no pay outs nor responses from Quidco when they raise a ticket.

Sorry if I did not make myself clear, I clear cookies before I go to the Quidco site.
  • Only one purchase has not tracked for me (a Holland and Barratt one), I have opened a ticket with them but haven't received it still, this was in October.

All my other Quidco transactions have shown up and I have been paid for ones who's due dates have come up.

No major issues with Quidco. One £70 insurance didn't track but Co-op have said if Quidco haven't paid me and they get confirmation of this then they will credit me themselves-otherwise everything has tracked and the due ones have paid with the exception of Wilkinsons which I've raised a ticket on. Overall I'm happy with Quidco

Prudential Car Insurance (£130 cashback) did not track for me(05 Sept 2007). I started an 'enquiry' with quidco a few days later. 16th Nov 2007 they said my enquiry had been successful .

As of today still no payment date. Hopefully, I will eventually be paid but it can sometimes take many months.

Most eventually pay. I have one decline to pay and several fail to track though. You must chase up those that fail to track. Some were for small amounts and I didn't bother to chase up.

Overall, worthwhile doing. I have received 100s of pounds cashback going through their site and it isn't much trouble. Patience is required though.
