Thanks for the list Natty. Busy morning here, fixing things that have been niggling me for weeks including:- the tiny plastic greenhouse with the lopsided shelves are now sorted,- the pots with seedlings are all out of it getting a much needed bit of fresh air- dog walked,- veggie supper made with bread that just wasn't right- breadmaker on with a replacement loaf that I forgot to actually switch on until I typed that,- DW loaded, run and emptied,- much needed plant labels made from a milk carton because I'm out of them completely,- more hand sanitser mixed up and put into a spare spray bottle,- six meals of beef in red wine and mushroom sauce crammed into the freezer, along with a delivery of free range pork we received on Friday, and- I'm now clearing some paperwork for the Foodbank. After that's finished I want to finish sewing up some more facemasks in case any of us get the dreaded lurgy to protect whoever has to do a bit of home nursing.Better is good enough.12

Not done much this afternoon, horrid grey rainy day isn't helping. But bedroom and landng completely finished. Kitchen surfaces wiped down and it's tidy, DW has been on and is now unloaded. OH desk in library has been cleaned so he can move back to there tomorrow then I can have the dining room to sew in, it looks like we will be going to masks to go out here so I need to get on and make some, the hospitals have put a pattern on line and I do have apropriate materials in stock.
Have learnt how to crochet so am turning some wool I found into squares so will see how many I have by the end of confinement or when I run out of wool. I also have 2 tapestries to finish if I get really bored!
Time to decide what I am going to do for dinner, I've got some thick belly pork slices that need to be cooked but how and with what is the question. OH made duck cottage pie yesterday and I put individual portions in the freezer this morning so we have a few ready meals.
HHI now (or rather minutes as just one load and no office shirts at the moment), find idea for dinner and then crochet with a cup of tea

Thank you for list Natty.
Kitchen done. Watered the veg that I planted yesterday. Helped DS with some emails as there's a slight chance he may not have to pay for his halls of residents next term. Sadly DD will as she's in private rented. About to walk dog and then do accounts which won't be pretty as I'm not working now. Oh well, I always wanted more free time for myself...be careful what you wish for.
Hope everyone's okay xx12 -
Ty for Fred.. how are we on pg 3 already!!! Not seen this in a looooong time!! Lovely to see though.
Found a super easy pattern for the new grandbeasty a cardigan.. DD1 has been utterly miserable.. understandably.. so not done any so not I have finished the blanket I have 3 weeks to crack out some caridgans.. she has almost completed one.. anyway this 'super-easy' pattern has now been re-written because half of it was wrong and i am now making progress.
WM x 4 done

All of the shopping has been done for the week as I had to get a few bits in Mr S that I couldn't get earlier. I may need to pop out for bread & milk later in the week, but that's it. Dog has been walked. Washing has been folded off the line. I am going to have a shower & wash my hair, then I may look at dinner. The boys are having burgers and DD2 & I are having pork belly slices too, as I fancied them 😊
Have a good evening everyone x9 -
Mr N and I had the planned blitz
Clear and wipe worksurfaces
Wipe and replace small appliancesLevel Two
Sweep and mop the floor
Scrub down the front of units and large appliances
Clean oven and hobLevel Three
Wipe the table and chairs... clean cloth if necessary
Wash windows and sills
Degunge the fridge!Go round the whole house wiping door handles, light switches and banisters - we WILL be germ-free!Extras
Thoroughly clean the cutlery drawer! I cleared out 2 drawers, had a real sort out and decluttered .
There are a few birthdays this week, as well as Easter, so while I was seeking cards I cleared out my card/ writing paper/ wrapping paper drawer. More space made. Wrote 1 birthday and 2 Easter cards, walked up and posted them.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.12 -
Himself looks confused.
I did shopping this morning. So the fridge is stacked with ingredients.
More herbs added to the windowsill.
Quick rinse of the bath and sink.
Lots and lots of putting away, portioning and the like to be done in a minute after some more tea.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll11 -
I have put up all this weeks list as I'm afraid I have come down with something nasty. My temperature is rising, I'm cold, have a headache and ache all over. So as a precaution, just in case it is that horrid Covid-19 I am taking myself off to bed for the rest of the week..hopefully it won't be too serious.

Keep drinking!! one of the things most people have been admitted for is dehydration and the Chinese found vit C is the very good at boosting your immune system.. They suggest 10mg a day minimum!! If that is what it is.. or regardless really.. I hope you feel better very soon xxxxx

Natty I hope it isn't the dreaded Covid and that you start to feel much better very soon.Mega busy day here I've walked miles with the dog, on a lovely long walk from home. Dinner cooking, we are all showered and I haven't had any bread or sugar 👍🏻👍🏻🥳🥳12
